BA/BS in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field 2-5 years of professional experience in user experience / product design Experience working at a complex SaaS product company Up-to-date on interaction and visual design best practices Understanding of user-centered product development Proficiency in software product design and design tools Working knowledge of user research and evaluation techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Define and prioritize what user/client problems to address and how (user-centric requirements) within a squad Design new features across the entire design lifecycle; create user personas, jobs-to-be-done's, design solution overviews, journey maps, lo- and hi-fidelity designs, and click-through prototypes Plan and conduct user interviews and usability test, take down notes and key learnings from user sessions, and help synthesize findings and put them into digestible materials for stakeholders and relevant presentations Act as an internal evangelist on behalf of our users; effectively communicate research findings and design deliverables to internal team members Partner and collaborate with other UX designers and researchers to speak with users and conduct user tests to sharpen the design solution quality. Be an advocate of our users by sharing insights and engaging in dialogues in the org.
