Must have 5+ years program and/or project management experience, leading large cross-functional efforts with a proven track record of delivering/launching products (formal project management training, PMP/PMI certification a plus) B.S. or B.A. degree required - MBA preferred Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with IT, SaaS, Enterprise, and Telecommunications projects a plus Self motivated, Self Starter, Need to have Bias for action Must be comfortable leading informally across the organization to challenge the status quo and develop better ways to enhance the customer experience Smart, analytical, creative, driven - “Gets it” and is able to deliver results quickly Must be flexible and adaptable to changing demands based upon the needs of the business Proactively seeks feedback and input; actively listens and communicates well with others Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial approach and drive for continuous improvement Strong influencing skills and ability to navigate successfully through direct, and matrixed environments Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions Must be comfortable in building key relationships and partnerships across the company to ensure smooth integration of new processes and programs Strong technical understanding of agile methodologies Must be able to analyze competing priorities, understand the business impact of each and allocate resources accordingly Must be comfortable interfacing with Senior Leadership Team to clearly communicate status, risks, blockers, and strategy for resolution Must possess the ability understand the big picture not only within program management but also company wide Must have a strong sense of ownership, owning all things within assigned Portfolio and executing them in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with changing requirements and minimal oversight Track and manage multiple projects with competing priorities and resource constraints through the project lifecycle Create, publish, and manage various artifacts outlined in the Product Delivery Process including detailed project plans Be seen as the collaborator between various groups, manage the details, and bridge the gaps that exist throughout the business Ensure projects/initiatives are well defined, scoped, approved, tracked, executed in a consistent and effective manner that maximizes success Comfortably present the status and details of your projects to executives/sponsors on a regular basis Engage with senior stakeholders to: Build trust and establish credibility Provides management transparency into project status, updates and risk factors Perform Risk Assessments and facilitate active Risk Management throughout the project lifecycle Lead key meetings to facilitate in a clear and effective way by making sure objectives are hit and teams understand assigned tasks Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, UX Design, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal through the product delivery process Ensure timely delivery of products and features by developing processes that improve predictability and transparency, identify dependencies earlier, and ensure that teams are working together efficiently to overcome roadblocks Adapt to the changing needs of the business to support in multiple roles including acting as a Portfolio Manager, Program Manager, and Project Manager Partner with key leaders and stakeholders to hold strategy sessions to build and develop short and long-term road maps for assigned Portfolio Set project delivery dates; enforce, maintain, communicate and mitigate dates to drive accountability and build trust across the organization
