4+ years of experience in influencer marketing in an applicable industry (gaming, esports, entertainment, etc.). Knowledge of current trends in the gaming industry and related marketing trends. Experience working with, and/or managing Influencer Marketing agencies from the RFP process all the way through to day-to-day execution and regular budget management. Awareness and knowledge of social, cultural trends, and current events. Collaborate with multiple different internal teams to ensure the development of holistic communications plans for each of Gearbox Publishing’s titles. Own all of Gearbox Publishing’s relationships with influencers either directly or indirectly via agency partners. Identify and onboard agency and other external partners that will serve as an extension of you and the larger Gearbox Publishing team. Oversee budgets for all influencer marketing, inclusive of external partners. Coordinate regularly with additional internal Gearbox Publishing team members to ensure compliance with company guidelines for both influencers and supporting agencies. Align with Gearbox Publishing Marketing and Communications leadership on key metrics and reporting. Stay up-to-speed on the newest influencers and trends in gaming and adjacent spaces so that we can understand if, and how, they present opportunities for Gearbox Publishing to engage players in new and exciting ways.
