5+ Years as a Game Designer with previous experience working on game systems. A deep understanding of modern first-person shooters, RPG growth systems, and core gameplay tentpoles from various Gearbox games. Strong ability to think logically with a high level of attention to details. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey design specifications to team members and project stakeholders. Be a curious and enthusiast person. Experience using Unreal 4 or scripting languages is a plus. Be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for creating gameplay systems and systemic content on a AAA FPS project. Design, prototype, implement and balance fun and accessible core gameplay systems and systemic content. Create clear and concise documentation that will be used to coordinate the development of the different features, systems and content. Help make sure the team maintains quality, consistency, and cohesive vision across multiple game systems. Participate in quality and accessibility assessment efforts such as playtests. Coordinate with Creative Director and other Design Leads to ensure features being worked on properly fit within the context of the overall game goals and are being leveraged properly by content teams.
