Position Requirements: • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university AND 5+ years of financial analysis/valuation experience is required • An advanced understanding of appraisal methodology is required • An advanced level of understanding of operational and capital issues concerning all commercial real estate is needed • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ARGUS are required • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and verbal communication skills with ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment License / Registration / Certification: • Certified General Appraisal License is required is a plus • MAI Designation or Candidate for MAI Designation is a plus • Manage the group workflow to ensure deadlines are met • Develop and maintain the work products of the valuation group • Train and develop analysts in valuation and financial analysis techniques • Oversee and review analysts work product for quality and accuracy • Develop and manage third party relationships with appraisal firms • Work with and respond to auditors during third party audits of valuation processes and policies • Communicate valuation impacts to key stakeholders and clients • Other duties as assigned Invesco Real Estate through Altus Group is currently looking for a new Real Estate Valuation Manager. This position will be in located in the Dallas Invesco Real Estate office and dedicated to client services. In this position, you will be responsible for managing group workflow, ensuring accuracy and objectivity of analysts’ work product, communicating results with all stakeholders inclusive of transactions, investment and portfolio management, and ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner. Other responsibilities may include suggesting opportunities for efficiency, quality assurance procedures, assisting with valuation policy for Invesco inter-company products and services, supporting training of the valuation team and other groups, and facilitating the integration of new technologies into work processes.
