Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Assist in sales invoicing, posting cash and clearing accounts receivables. Manage the sales tax reconciliation utilizing and maintaining the state websites, Avalara tax, and customer tax exempt certifications. Produce error-free journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance. Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. US GAAP, IFRS), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control (i.e. Sox, financial, tax) Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines. Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information. Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
