•College student completing their Sophomore or Junior year of coursework, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook) and Adobe Professional •Research and quantitative analytical skills•Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail •Learn the basic skills needed to succeed as a SALT analyst after graduation •Assist with serving the needs of clients in the following areas of tax compliance and consulting: real and personal property taxation; sales and use tax; business license tax; unclaimed property reporting; and economic development credits and incentives negotiation •Organizing, analyzing and summarizing data using Microsoft Office products, Adobe Professional, and other software •Assisting consultants with tasks related to various ongoing State & Local projects •Completing work accurately and timely, meeting rigid and, oftentimes, recurring due dates •Running various reports to inform team of upcoming appeal deadlines as well as running analyses to determine a variety of portfolio metrics•Assisting with preparation of property tax appeal documents as directed by consultant and/or managing personnel •Assisting with filing of property tax appeals, assessments and tax bills •Working towards and meeting production goals established by supervisor •Completing work accurately and timely, meeting rigid and recurring due dates
