Oversee and strategize multiple content calendars that include native content as well as content from our title specific social channels to avoid conflict and maximize opportunities for community engagement Ensure all posted social assets are aligned with the company’s brand identity Work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Communications, Licensing and more on different global programs and campaigns Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the outcome of communications campaigns and strategies Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices Analyze and report on content and program performance data to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation Stay active in our owned channels daily to know how the community feels, understand community concerns, and communicate community status to internal teams and product leads Identify opportunities to use SHiFT codes (social, livestream, etc.) and strategize how to use them Establish and lead community-focused events such as contests, community polls, etc. Work with Marketing to develop YouTube descriptions and tags to maximize visibility and SEO for uploaded videos Events – Develop strategies that will contribute to high levels of engagement across the community, and expand Gearbox’s digital footprint online Travel – Potentially travel to any event with a Gearbox footprint to help capture moments and engage with the broader Gearbox community across our owned social channels The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring engagement across Gearbox Official’s online communities across channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitch, YouTube and potentially other social platforms that help build the Gearbox brand and story. This position will fit within the Communications team and reports directly to Gearbox’s Public Relations Director.
