A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in entertainment licensing, account management, and/or consumer products Experience in retail management, product development, and consumer product marketing preferred Experience in managing licensees from various regions (NCSA, LATAM, EMEA, APAC) Experience in negotiating contracts Experience in reviewing creative and product submissions Knowledge of Gearbox’s IPs and characters, and knowledge of the video game industry preferred Strong project management and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbally Understanding of licensing financials and royalty reports Sensitivity in handling highly confidential information Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Support day-to-day business development and account management for assigned licensees, by assisting with product planning, submissions pipeline, documentation, partner relationships, and marketing efforts Manage feedback and approval pipelines with internal stakeholders and assigned licensees Gather and deliver assets to assigned licensees Have a strong understanding of our style guides and how they should be applied to our products Be able to understand and convey creative direction and creative feedback from the Creative Licensing team and other creative stakeholders Inform assigned licensees of upcoming IP beats Assist Sr. Licensing Manager in negotiating deals by gathering latest IP information and preparing comprehensive documents to be shared with external partners Participate in the planning and execution of merchandise programs Work with leadership team to complete annual licensing performance reviews and strategy planning sessions, and propose new growth opportunities Provide support for department budget and P&L work Assist with the collection and organization of royalties Handle product sample archiving and organization Contribute to the maintenance of our licensee list and the terms of their contracts Contribute to the organization and maintenance of our shared licensing folders Attend and take notes in meetings with internal teams, external partners, and our licensing agent Act as a key stakeholder in keeping internal cross-functional teams updated on licensing plans
