Line management of staff to manage the day-to-day activities related to the College's websites, Intranets, digital content production, social media and other activities deemed necessary by the Head of Marketing and Communications. This will include regular 1-to-1's, day-to-day workload management and direction, annual personal development reviews, regular team meetings and other managerial duties Development of annual strategy and action plans for the College's digital platforms (including but not limited to the website), tailored to meet the changing needs of the College and ensure this is in line with the strategies of the team, the College, External Relations and the University Take overall responsibility for developing, monitoring, managing and maintaining websites for the College of Social Sciences. You will act as the lead for web projects and developments across the College and will take ultimate responsibility for editorial and quality control for the College's web pages Hold overall editorial and approver responsibility for College websites, ensuring content is engaging, innovative and impactful. This will involve high- level expertise and skills in copywriting, including editing, research, fact checking, proofreading and ensuring all content adheres to University web guidelines, including house style Ensuring that digital content (including video) is used across School websites by working alongside academics in the Schools, and developing this content either independently or in collaboration with other colleagues across the University as appropriate, including but not limited to Creative Media Managing attendance at events to capture content (written and digital), edit and upload on to the relevant websites. This will include attending events yourself when relevant.
