Job Description

Provide effective support, coach and line manage a team of Advice Caseworkers. Manage staffing levels across the service to ensure adequate cover. Provide expertise to support the resolution of complex case enquiries including those relating to benefits, housing, and care issues. Ensure quality standards are maintained across the services through the delivery of advice, information, and support. Attend and contribute towards internal and external meetings as required. Support and contribute towards funding work across the service. Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and development and complete 1:1 supervision meetings. Lead and support the recruitment of paid staff and volunteers into the service. Provide expertise, guidance, and resolution to complex casework enquiries. Monitor levels of activity, quality, and outcomes to understand impact including reporting on activity in line with grant agreements. Lead and support the maintenance of quality checks and processes across the service including the collation of client feedback, coordinating the work of volunteer staff to achieve this. Attend external and internal meetings representing the service and organisation. Deliver advice, information, and guidance to support people with advice and welfare needs. Produce funding reports confirming service activity and performance and contribute towards funding proposals.
