About the job The Network & Security Administrator reporting to the Head of IT infrastructure & Operations, will be intensely involved in Network administrations and daily operations, improvements, advice, work on the problems and contribute to the project’s implementations. This position will require on-call responsibilities for the duties or functions routinely performed. Additionally, maintenance and configuration activities that affect service availability routinely require work outside of regular business hours. The ability to work well within a small multi-cultural team with a focus on results and a philosophy of getting the job done right the first time. Responsibilities Manage services in scope – Managed Security (Firewalls, Proxies. DNS, WAF etc.), Managed LAN (Certes, Packet Shapers). Perform technical evaluation of service requests, normal, standard, and emergency changes, network problems’ resolution, etc. Own and control the development and periodic updates of operational documentation / SOPs, communication plans and RCA documentation as part of Deployment/CAB/Management approval requirements. Manage the periodic configuration review/hardening of various components of the network security infrastructure. Co-manage the round-the-clock infrastructure monitoring of Network Security components with rotating on-call schedules after office hours. Co-manage network monitoring system (Riverbed), including false positive reduction and acknowledgement/resolution procedures. Experience in managing a team of Technical SMEs. Experience in timesheet review and control. Experience in workload distribution, roster preparation and rotation, conflict resolution, capacity planning, leave planning and backup and availability planning. Knowledge and experience of performing periodic skills assessments for the team and preparing a training/development plan. Prepare for and participate in daily operations SCRUM/Huddle with program managers. Preparing and presenting Weekly and Monthly and other ad-hoc service reports. Provide SME support for project discussions (in-progress and planned). Qualifications & Skills 10-15 Years’ experience of working hands on in Network Security. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding organization skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. SPOC for the Network Security team. Hands-on experience on 3 or more of the following below technologies: Palo Alto Blue Coat F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) Infoblox, FireEye Certified on 3 or more of the below technologies: Palo Alto Blue Coat F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) Infoblox, FireEye One or more of the below certifications would be good to have: CISSP/CISM/CISA/CCSP GCIA/GCIH/GSOC CEH/OSCP/OSCE CCNA/CCNP/CCIE ISO 27001 LA/LI, ISO 20000 LA/LI Benefits Health insurance with one of the leading global providers for medical insurance.
