Hiring Unit Office of Student Accessibility & Achievement (formerly known as the Office for Students with Disabilities - OSD) The Office of Student Accessibility & Achievement (SAA) provides support services and reasonable accommodations to McGill students of all levels of study with documented disabilities of either a permanent, temporary, or episodic nature. They foster an accessible and inclusive university experience for McGill’s diverse student population in collaboration with other Student Services and the wider McGill community through resources and services. Position Summary Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of high complexity, and the incumbent performs them using general instruction. This position supports the functioning of the Office of Student Accessibility & Achievement (SAA), which may include work at the SAA Downtown Exam Centre as well as exam supervision in various locations at the downtown or Macdonald campus. Organizes individuals as well as exam-related activities Participates in training preparations and deliveries related to exam invigilation Acts as a liaison between the unit and internal or external parties to provide various assistance and/or information. Creates various reports, when needed. Acts as a resource person to resolve various issues that may arise during planning, scheduling and events/exams. For example, incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Office Assistant level “A” and/or “B” in addition to the above-listed functions. Other Qualifying Skills And/or Abilities Work-study preferred. Masters or Ph.D. student at McGill University. Previous experience with exam invigilation required.
