A DAY IN THE LIFE Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll harness your exceptional organizational and leadership skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forwards! Your role as Project Manager will include: Propelling your projects forward with exceptional project management skills, collaborating closely with your team to ensure efficient execution, and adhering to planned schedules and cost budgets. Taking ownership of your projects’ overall health, driving them towards success. Inspiring and empowering your team to leverage their individual and collective strengths so that you exceed project target expectations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project team members. Leading engaging project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, fostering an environment of collaboration, monitoring progress, and providing necessary support to ensure the project's continuous advancement. Making regular site visits with the Site Foreman, ensuring hands-on involvement and a thorough understanding of project progress, challenges, and opportunities. Interpreting cost reports to ensure accurate and effective forecasting of project completion. What You Bring To The Table 5+ years of progressive project management experience. Experience in a mechanical engineer role and/or a background in plumbing. Prior field experience as a Red Seal Certified Plumber, Gas Fitter, and/or HVAC Technician. You are eligible to work in Canada and have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in navigating relevant software including MS Project, eSUB, Sitedocs, and Plangrid. Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to streamline and enhance project-related tasks and communication. Strong data analysis skills that enable you to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions. Well-versed in Plumbing code, local specifications, and construction practices.
