The Role As a respected member of our team, you will be accountable for providing creative and human-centred design-led solutions in digital mediums such as websites, web apps, intranets, online forms, and various digital content for our agency. This includes our company and client projects and product initiatives. The person we are looking for will have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience. You will have a problem-solving aptitude and a strong portfolio of design projects. You will need to demonstrate familiarity with brand communication, interaction design and information architecture. You’ll be required to have exceptional skills in User Experience (UX), Responsive Website Interface Design, Wireframe and Prototype Concept Design, Content, and Corporate Identity Design. While not mandatory, skills such as coding HTML/CSS, Video Editing, Copywriting, Photography, and Animation will be looked upon favourability, as will having previous local digital agency experience. Key Responsibilities As a UI/UX Designer you will be responsible for: UX | UI Designing of websites, web apps, intranets, online forms, and various digital content initiatives for our agency Finding creative methods to solve UI problems (e.g. colour contrast, typographical hierarchy, brand continuity), and UX problems (e.g. usability, searchability, accessibility) Understanding project specifications and user psychology Design concepts and implement usability testing activities and gather user feedback Creating of personas through user research and data Designing and working from wireframes, prototypes and contributing to the overall solution based on client requirements Building templates and prototypes Styling websites to work responsively across devices and meet accessibility standards Optimising websites for speed, and usability Communication of design ideas and prototypes with our developers Agency product design and usability Ensuring consistency of brand and content experience across digital customer touch points Designing digital marketing content such as social posts, eBooks, Case studies, videos and photography Generating ideas and pitching them to stakeholders Translating brand positioning, existing research, and marketing strategies into effective design solutions. Branding, corporate identity design and creation of marketing collateral Copywriting contributions to articles, social posts, case studies, landing pages, websites and marketing collateral We use the following technologies Adobe Creative Suite InVision Figma/Sketch WordPress, Kentico and Craft CMS AWS Docker JIRA and Confluence Microsoft Dynamics CRM SharePoint Hyper-V Gitlab Bonus Coding experience (HTML/CSS) CMS/DXP experience i.e WordPress Digital marketing /Search & Social advertising experience Video/film editing/production Animation
