The SEO Specialist is responsible for the Search Engine Optimisation of Partner University websites to deliver high-converting student inquiries. This includes identifying and executing both the on and off-page strategy, traffic/inquiry forecasting, website performance analysis and budget management. Key Accountabilities include the following: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to define and execute the SEO strategy for University Partner websites, continually identifying new opportunities to grow organic website traffic, managing the SEO budget, and forecasting monthly traffic and inquiry volumes Advise and implement on-site and technical optimisations including meta tags, content optimisation, site architecture, indexing, schema, sitemaps, load speeds, and URL paths Work closely with the Content Team to drive the content strategy and production Identify and drive link-building opportunities Research and analysis, including keyword research, competitor analysis, user insights, technical audits, content performance, and backlink audits. Project manage website improvements and problem-solve issues, providing recommendations to improve CRO, UX, and the customer journey Manage third parties that support SEO initiatives Qualifications Education Tertiary qualification in a related field or higher Experience Demonstrated experience in a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) role Interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate technical issues in a concise and understandable manner Proactive in acquiring and learning new skills in the evolving SEO field Experience in Higher Education or highly regulated industry is desirable Technical/Further Skills Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Trends, and Keyword Planner Experience with SEO tools such as ScreamingFrog, SEMrush, AHREFs, or equivalent Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Strong numerical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills Additional Information So why Keypath?
