Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced O&M Mechanic TA with expertise in the LM/TM 2500 gas turbine to join our team. As a Gas Turbine O&M Technician specializing in the LM/TM 2500, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of these gas turbines in our facility. Your in-depth knowledge of the LM/TM 2500 and your ability to perform routine maintenance and diagnose complex issues will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our equipment. Responsibilities: Perform regular maintenance and inspections on LM/TM 2500 gas turbines according to established procedures and schedules. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues related to the LM/TM 2500 gas turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Coordinate with other maintenance and operations personnel to plan and execute maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to develop and implement improvements to enhance the reliability and performance of the LM/TM 2500 gas turbines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status. Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operators on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the LM/TM 2500 gas turbines. Stay updated with the latest industry developments, best practices, and technological advancements related to gas turbines and the LM/TM 2500 model. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred. Proven experience as an O&M Mechanic or Gas Turbine Technician with specialization in the LM/TM 2500 model. In-depth knowledge of the LM/TM 2500 gas turbine, including its operation, maintenance requirements, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings related to the LM/TM 2500 gas turbine. Strong mechanical, electrical, and control system skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures. Must be an Australian national or hold a valid work permit
