The Role We are looking for Admissions Specialist who is passionate about a resident first approach, to join our 55-Bed facility in Waverley, NSW. The Admissions Coordinator will work closely with the Facility Manager and will develop strategies to engage with potential residents and families who are looking to enter residential aged care. This role will also be required to provide information about aged care services, fees, and requirements for entering an aged care home and guide each customers through the system whilst exploring options that best suit their needs. A crucial aspect for excelling in this role lies in the ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with residents, families, and all external referrers within the community such as Hospitals, Transition Care providers, GP's, Social Workers, ACAS teams, etc in order to drive occupancy at the homes. What You Will Do The Admission Officer is responsible for: Manage enquiries around admission into aged care Manage club services offerings Provide excellent customer service Lead to Admissions Process Management Booking and providing tours of the facility Liasing with prospective residents/families and the care team Occupancy management Maintaining & creating strong relationships with the referral network Create resident agreements Liasing with the finance team General administration such as data entry/collation and reports preparation, records management, reception, and filing. What you will bring Previous Admissions, Customer Service or Sales and Marketing experience within the Residential Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Retirement Living, or Healthcare sectors. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-focused attitude. Understanding of Fees and Charges applicable to Aged Care (RADS/DAPS etc) is preferred. Proficiency in relevant software applications Experience in multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritising a busy workload Proven ability to show kindness, empathy and have a can-do attitude NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain) Covid-19 Vaccinations (2 doses) Interested?
