About the job We are looking for a passionate administrator who enjoys frontline customer interaction to join our Mt Isa team. In this varied and interesting role, you will play a key support role to the legal team and attend to frontline customer service duties. About Legal Aid Queensland Legal Aid Queensland's (LAQ) vision is to be a leader in a fair justice system where people are able to understand and protect their legal rights. Our purpose is to provide quality, cost effective legal services to financially disadvantaged people throughout Queensland. We are looking for a passionate administrator who enjoys frontline customer interaction to join our Mt Isa team. In this key support function you will be an essential support to the legal team and attend to frontline customer service duties. What You Will Do Be our first point of contact and respond to telephone enquiries from clients, - including providing referral advice and helping clients prepare applications for Legal Aid. Coordinate and organise administrative duties of the Mount Isa office in regard to remote outreach services. This includes liaising and consulting with community agencies, peak bodies and government departments in relation to Circuit Court activities and schedules. Liaise with and develop effective partnerships with key service providers and community agencies Support our lawyers with administrative activities associated with case files including research; report writing; opening, closing and archiving files; data entry and searches. Support the lawyers with prioritizing daily tasks and maintain appointments and calendars What Are We Looking For An experienced administrator with great written and oral communication skills A great team player A person with strong attention to detail What We Can Offer You 36.25 hrs per week (full time hours) 5 weeks annual leave (Regional loading) Locality allowance 12.75% employer super contributions Generous salary packaging available Study leave for approved work-related courses.
